Development Milestones
oVirt project development releases will typically be done every 3-5 weeks. Work is done on the 'next' branch of the oVirt source repositories. On a release the code from 'next' is merged in to the 'master' branch and release RPMs are built and uploaded to the yum repositories, stable releases are uploaded to fedora.
The 'In Progress' list below shows features that are targeted for the next release. 'Future Work' shows features that will be completed in subsequent releases. The release notes page shows which features made it into specific releases.

- Completion of AMQP/qpid integration
- Support for bonding/failover of NICs in the UI
- oVirt CLI and additional API calls
- Continuing improvements to the server installer
- Single network / nic server support
- Clustering software integrated into oVirt Node and support for Node HA

Future Work
- Clustering/HA support in the user interface
- Node/Guest clustering support including support for CLVM
- Encryption of VNC data stream and authentication in gtk-vnc viewer used to view guest consoles
- VNC viewer and supporting libraries packaged up for use in Windows(R)
- Fibre Channel Storage support
- Multipath I/O support for storage
- SNMP integration for oVirt Node
